Marilyn Richardson

Marilyn RichardsonMarilyn Richardson studied singing at the Sydney Conservatorium.   A Churchill Fellowship gave her the opportunity to further her studies in Europe, making her international debut in Basel to rave reviews.  She has sung concerts and operas in Europe, the USA and Australia.   Some of our best known conductors have composed for her, including Richard Mills.    She has many awards to her credit, gives Master Classes overseas and in Australia, and has coached Opera Queensland’s Young Artists.    She is currently working on video documentaries.

Lisa Gasteen

Lisa GasteenWinner of the 1991 Cardiff Singer of the World competition, Brisbane-born Lisa Gasteen performs frequently in Europe and the United States with companies including Welsh National Opera, Deutsche Oper and Staatsoper/Berlin, Scottish Opera, Royal Opera House/Covent Garden, Vienna Staatsoper, Metropolitan Opera, Opera Bastille/Paris, in Strasbourg, Stuttgart, Zurich, Hamburg, Dallas and Washington.

In these houses, she has performed roles including Leonora (Il Trovatore, La Forza del Destino, Fidelio), Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), Madeleine (Andrea Chenier), Aida, Tosca, Ariadne auf Naxos, Sieglinde (Die Walküre), Chrysothemis and Elektra, Faerberin (Die Frau ohne Schatten), Isolde (Tristan und Isolde) and Brünnhilde (Ring Cycle). Conductors with whom she has worked include Zubin Mehta, Carlo Rizzi, Bernard Haitink, Asher Fisch, Simone Young, Antonio Pappano, James Levine, Lorin Maazel, Sir Charles Mackerras, Kiril Petrenko, Semion Bychkov, Bertrand de Billy, Sebastian Weigler, Christian Dochnányi, Valery Gergiev, Mark Elder and Richard Bonynge.
